Ultimate Staffing is seeking a temporary Market Research Assistant to support a project for the next 2-3 months. This role is onsite in Irvine. Paying $25/ hour.
This short-term project is focused on improving, validating, and expanding a database of potential customer accounts.

There may be occasional outbound calls to businesses when needed.
The role may also assist with:
* Review and validate existing account records for accuracy and completeness.
* Research businesses to confirm they are currently operating.
* Verify and update business addresses, phone numbers, websites, and contact information.
* Conduct basic vetting of accounts to determine whether the business sells supplements, appears to offer private label products, carries competitive brands, and the general size or profile of the store.
* Use online resources such as company websites, Google, Yelp, and other public sources to gather and verify information.
* Make outbound calls to businesses when online information is incomplete or unclear.
* Cross-reference newly acquired account lists against existing records to identify duplicates, gaps, and new opportunities.
* Add new qualified accounts to the database in a consistent and accurate format.
* Research competitor store locators, Google Maps, and related tools to identify additional prospective accounts.
* Maintain organized and accurate records in Excel and follow established data-entry standards.
* Communicate findings, discrepancies, and progress updates.

Education / Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required:
Prior experience in research, data entry, lead generation, administrative support, sales support, or account/prospect research preferred.
Skills / Abilities:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable using Excel to update, organize, and maintain data.
* Strong internet research skills and the ability to navigate multiple online sources efficiently.
* Ability to compare information across sources and make sound judgments based on available data.
* Professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make occasional outbound calls to businesses.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
